Evidence of human activity is sparse but significant, centered on a small cluster of Cabins and a designated Winter Trail that cuts across the northern tundra. Surveyed primarily from 1949-1950 aerial photography, the sheet records the geography of what later became the Bering Land Bridge National Preserve.
