Shorty Peak Lookout and Red Top Lookout stand as prominent high-altitude sentinels over this high-country drainage in the Kanisku National Forest. Located along the international border between the United States of America and Canada, the terrain is defined by steep ridges and alpine features such as Canyon Lake and Italian Peak. The road network, including Boundary Creek Rd and Saddle Pass Rd, provides the primary access through the Boundary Co wilderness, tracing the routes established for forestry and fire management. Near the center of the sheet, the United States Forest Service Camp 216 serves as a grounded marker of administrative and recreational activity in the forest. Several significant peaks, such as Lone Tree Peak and Silver Mtn, anchor the skyline above the complex creek systems of Smith Cr and Boundary Cr.
