Shoshone Meadows Springs and the surrounding desert basins define this mid-1960s survey of the Nevada interior. The landscape is dominated by the convergence of the Clan Alpine Mts, Augusta Mountains, and the New Pass Range, where water sources were critical for survival and industry. Vital water points such as Hole in the Wall Spring and Cain Spring are clearly marked, alongside infrastructure like Hole in the Wall Well No 2.
