Snoqualmie Pass serves as the central focal point of this high-altitude landscape, where interstate transit meets alpine recreation. The crossing is flanked by the Snoqualmie National Forest and Wenatchee National Forest, defined by a cluster of ski developments including Alpental, Ski Acres, and the Snoqualmie Summit Ski Area. This 2014 survey documents the complex infrastructure of the pass, from the historic Snoqualmie Tunnel and the modern course of State Hwy 906 to the northern reaches of Keechelus Lake.
