2016 Map of Soldier Point

About this map

Voyageurs National Park dominates this northern border landscape, where the waters of Rainy Lake meet the international boundary between Minnesota and Canada. The intricate shoreline is defined by numerous points and bays, including the namesake Soldier Point and nearby Gaylord Point, which guard the passage through the Brule Narrows. Further south, the terrain transitions from the open waters of Saginaw Bay and Marion Bay to a dense interior network of smaller, secluded water bodies.
