Red Mud Cr and its tributaries define the drainage of this West Texas landscape along the border of Dickens and Kent counties. The terrain is marked by significant topographical relief, particularly around Spade Draw and the various branches feeding the primary creek system. Water management is a visible priority in this semi-arid region, anchored by the Soil Conservation Service Site 11 Reservoir in the northeastern portion of the sheet.
