Uinta National Forest and Ashley National Forest meet in this 1967 field-checked study of the high canyon country southeast of the Strawberry River. The landscape is defined by a dense network of drainage systems including French Hollow, Broad Hollow, and the headwaters of the White River. Evidence of early territorial history is preserved in the path of the Old Indian Treaty Bdy, which cuts across the lower southeastern ridges.
