Stubbs and its surrounding agricultural landscape are defined by a grid of rural roads and the winding paths of prairie waterways. The Medicine Lodge River cuts across the northeastern corner of the territory, while the drainages of Little Mule Cr and Little Driftwood Cr carve through the undulating terrain of the southern sections. This 2022 survey illustrates the modern continuity of the Public Land Survey System, with section lines clearly marked by thoroughfares such as Stubbs Rd, Northstar Rd, and Clairmont Rd.
