The Hurricane Fault cuts a dramatic geological line through this section of Iron County, separating the high desert floor from the complex verticality of the Hurricane Cliffs. At the base of these heights, the settlement of Summit serves as a central point for the surrounding agricultural and ranching lands of the Parowan Valley. To the northeast, the outskirts of Parowan are visible, while the southwest corner of the map captures the edge of Enoch.
