Table Mountain and the surrounding high desert of Tooele County define this landscape of dry watercourses and ancient geological formations. The area is characterized by relic drainage patterns, most notably the prominent Old River Bed that snakes through the northern territory and the Pismire Wash to the west. These features, along with the White Marl Bluff, provide a window into the prehistoric hydrology of the Great Basin.
