Teague sits at the northern edge of this landscape, its residential grid defined by streets like Magnolia St and China St near the historic Greenwood Cem. To the southwest, the smaller settlement of Personville anchors a region of rolling drainages and rural county roads along the Freestone and Limestone county line. The terrain is deeply carved by a dense network of waterways, including Chambers Cr, Holman Cr, and Big Cr, which together feed into the local basin south of the main town site.
