Trilobite Peak and the surrounding Trilobite Range define the high-altitude topography of this remote Montana wilderness. The landscape is a network of ridges and drainages, where the Bob Marshall Wilderness meets the Great Bear Wilderness. Water flows through deep-cut valleys including Argosy Creek and Dolly Varden Creek, while higher basins hold alpine features like Trilobite Lake and Pot Lake.
