Wakatomika Creek and the Little Wakatomika Creek drain the broken landscape of the northern Muskingum Valley, where the border of Coshocton Co and Muskingum Co meets. The village of Trinway sits at a crossroads of valley routes, just north of Dresden. This modern topographic survey shows a countryside defined by high ridges and deep runs, such as Graham Ridge and Irish Ridge, which have long shaped local travel and settlement.
