Whitefish Cr and its numerous tributaries dominate this drainage-carved landscape in Donley County. The terrain is defined by a dense network of intermittent waterways, including McCormick Creek, Troublesome Cr, and the appropriately named Three Tree Cr. The branching patterns of these creeks suggest a land shaped by erosion, where the high plains break away into a labyrinth of draws and ridges.
