The Thunder Basin National Grassland dominates the southern landscape of this portion of Campbell County, where public lands are segmented into various blocks designated as Tbng. This section of northeast Wyoming is defined by a dendritic drainage network that feeds the Little Powder River, which meanders through the western half of the map. The terrain is characterized by numerous draws and coulees, most notably Tuttle Draw and Prairie Dog Draw, illustrating the erosional patterns common to this high plains environment.
