Fort Stevens stands at the northwestern tip of the Oregon coast, guarding the mouth of the Columbia River where it meets the Pacific Ocean. This modern survey reveals a landscape defined by its maritime and military heritage, from the historic batteries of the fort to the modern installations of MTA Camp Rilea. The interior is a dense network of freshwater bodies, including Coffenbury Lake, Abbot Lake, and Potato Lake, separated from the sea by the massive Jetty Sands.
