Xenia serves as the central hub of this Greene County landscape, where the historic Greene County Courthouse anchors a dense network of residential and commercial streets. To the northeast, the community of Wilberforce is characterized by its academic concentration, home to Wilberforce University, Central State University, and Payne Theological Seminary. This area also includes the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument, marking a significant site of African American military history.
