The Meade Glacier dominates this mid-century survey of the high mountain reaches of the Tongass National Forest. Located along the international border between the United States and Canada, the sheet details a landscape defined by massive ice fields and the high peaks that punctuate them, such as Mt Canning and Boundary Peak 105. An Indefinite Boundary reflects the difficult surveying conditions found in these high-altitude environments, where numerous crevasses are explicitly marked across the glacial surface.
