Limpia Cr flows through the high desert floor of the Trans-Pecos, cutting the deep Limpia Canyon as it moves past the southern slopes of the Barrilla Mountains. The topography is dominated by dramatic elevations like Carpenter Mtn and Needle Point, where the high-altitude landscape is sustained by vital water sources such as Head Spring, Apple Spring, and House Spring.
