The Wrangell-St. Elias Wilderness dominates this corner of Alaska, where the northern reaches of the Saint Elias Mountains meet a network of glacial river systems. The drainage patterns are defined by the East Fork Kiagna River and the main branch of the Kiagna River, which carve through the high-elevation terrain between the Granite Range to the south and Bald Mtn to the north.
