Industrial silver and lead extraction dominate this mid-century survey of the Bristol Range in Lincoln County. The landscape is heavily marked by the historic mining operations at Jackrabbit Mines and the Bristol Silver Mines, which are supported by a complex network of subterranean features including the Jackrabbit Tunnel and North Star Tunnel. Evidence of early transportation infrastructure is visible in the Old Railroad Grade that skirts the eastern edge of the mountains, tracing a route toward the valley floor near Patterson Wash.
