1995 Map of Britton

USGS Topo · Published 2002

About this map

Joe Pool Lake dominates the eastern half of this landscape, a significant reservoir that reshaped the geography where Tarrant and Dallas counties meet. While most of the map details the suburban expansion of Arlington and Mansfield, the small unincorporated community of Britton remains a distinct point of historical interest near the southern end of the lake. The terrain is marked by numerous small waterways, including Walnut Creek, Soap Creek, and Mountain Creek, which drain into the reservoir.
