Buck Camp Canyon defines the drainage patterns of this high-altitude landscape in the eastern Uintah Basin. The winding course of Bitter Creek serves as a primary geographic anchor, passing the Bitter Creek Corral in the northeastern reaches. This 2017 survey documents a modern network of numbered routes and industrial paths, including the Texaco Survey road, which reveal the infrastructure of local energy and ranching operations. Significant topographical landmarks like Archy Bench and East Bench rise above the complex system of ravines. To the south, the terrain becomes increasingly dramatic near the steep drop-offs of Hells Edge and the seasonal channel of Itentrouble Wash, illustrating the erosive forces that have shaped this arid corner of Utah.
