To the east, the corridor of Fountain Creek serves as the primary artery for transportation and water management. Parallel rail lines of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe and the Denver and Rio Grande Western track the valley, linking small station points and rural clusters such as Wigwam and Henkel.
