Debs sits near the northeastern corner of this landscape, an area defined by its dense network of glacial lakes and the winding path of the Clearwater River. The terrain is marked by significant wetlands and water bodies, including the expansive Clearwater Lake and the smaller Myrtle Lake and Tepee Lake. The boundary between Clearwater and Beltrami Counties runs vertically through the center of the sheet, splitting the hydrologic system between the two jurisdictions.
