About this map

The Mississinewa River carves a winding path through this northern Delaware County landscape, serving as the central geographic feature for the town of Eaton and the smaller settlement of Granville. In the late 1950s, this region maintained a balance between its agricultural roots and emerging industrial and recreational infrastructure. Evidence of this transition is found in the Quarry and Storage Bins near the river, as well as the Drive-in Theater and Radio Tower located near the southern edge of the survey.
