The agricultural wetlands of Lonoke and Prairie Counties are defined by the winding course of Bayou Meto and an extensive network of irrigation infrastructure. This late-1960s landscape shows the transition from natural sloughs to managed agriculture, evidenced by several large Reservoir features and the Crooked Creek Ditch. Small rural settlements like Hamilton and Brummitt anchor the region, while the oddly-named Seaton Dump and the central community of Geridge represent the local centers of activity.
