The town of Glencoe serves as the focal point of this survey, situated at the crossroads of W Main St and W Shell St in northern Oklahoma. The landscape is defined by the headwaters of several drainages, including Oak Cr and Little Stillwater Cr, which have been managed through a series of flood control structures such as Stillwater Cr Site 8 Reservoir and Stillwater Cr Site 10 Reservoir. These reservoirs, along with the 1903 Reservoir, illustrate the critical importance of water management in this prairie environment.
