1968 Map of Horseshoe Lake

USGS Topo · Published 1973

About this map

Mount Baldy and Round Top Mountain dominate the high-altitude landscape of this 1968 field-checked survey. Located within the Bridger National Forest, the region is defined by a dense concentration of alpine water bodies, from the sprawling Chain Lakes and Bell Lakes in the north to the isolated Lake Ethel and Blueberry Lake in the south. The terrain is marked by deep glacial carving, evident in the dramatic Boulder Canyon and the course of North Fork Boulder Creek.
