Kinalik River meanders across the northeast corner of this Arctic landscape, representing the primary hydrological feature of this remote quadrangle. Situated within the North Slope Borough, the terrain is characterized by subtle elevation changes and the organized grid of the Public Land Survey System, including portions of t2s r14w, t3s r14w, and t4s r14w. The vast expanse of the Alaskan interior is meticulously documented by the U.S. Geological Survey using data from the Alaska Dept. of Transportation and the FWS National Wetlands Inventory. This 2016 edition provides a high-resolution view of a region defined by its hydrography and the expansive survey townships of the North Slope.
