Keatchie and the surrounding borderlands of Caddo Parish and De Soto Parish are characterized by a dense concentration of small burial grounds and rural churches. This region, documented in the early 21st century, preserves numerous family and community landmarks such as Fullilove Cem, Gatlin Cem, and the Keatchie Confederate Cem. The landscape is defined by the winding paths of Bushneck Bayou and Cypress Bayou, which drain the wooded terrain between the settlements of Four Forks and Longstreet. Evidence of the area's transportation history remains visible in the network of parish roads and the older Depot Rd alignment in Keatchie. Further south, the community of Keachi sits near Baptist Chapel Cem, while the marshy lowlands of Rochelle Bayou and Bayou Castor dominate the southeastern portion of the map near Flower Hill Cem.
