Hopewell Culture National Historical Park preserves ancient earthworks along the eastern bank of the Scioto River, south of the village of Kingston. This agricultural and archaeological corridor near the Ross and Pickaway county line is defined by the valley of Kinnikinnick Cr and the presence of several early pioneer burial sites, including Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Cem and Crouse Chapel Cem.
