Dorr Meadow and the surrounding high-country drainages of Carbon County define this landscape of high-plains hydrology. Water movement is the primary geographic feature, with numerous intermittent streams such as Cottonwood Cr, Willow Cr, and Cress Cr carving out the terrain as they flow toward the north. In the northwest corner, the Marsh Reservoir serves as a critical point of water collection, while Little Sand Spring and Sand Springs Cr mark more localized water sources further south.
