Lindsay serves as the central hub of this eastern Montana landscape, situated at the intersection of several key regional routes including MT-200s and MT-467. The geography is defined by a network of seasonal watercourses and drainage basins, most notably Upper Sevenmile Cr which flows across the northern sections, and the Timber Fork to the south. Near the primary settlement, the Lindsay Reservoir provides a localized water resource within the high plains environment.
