2005 Map of Maple Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2006

About this map

Apache National Forest and Gila National Forest converge at the Arizona-New Mexico border, where high-altitude peaks and ranching outposts define the landscape. This 2005 revision shows a network of livestock infrastructure and remote camps, such as Smoothing Iron Camp and Maple Corral, scattered across prominent mesas like Smoothing Iron Mesa and Snare Mesa. The Blue Range Primitive Area occupies the northwestern corner, dominated by the massif of Charlie Moore Mountain.
