Sithdondit Cr meanders through the central and southern portions of this Alaskan landscape, marking the primary drainage in an area defined by significant elevation changes. To the north, Calamity Cr cuts through the higher terrain, while the eastern edge of the quadrangle touches upon Hogadatna Slough. The land is meticulously partitioned by the Public Land Survey System, showing the boundaries of t7n r27e, t7n r28e, t6n r27e, and t6n r28e. This 2016 survey illustrates the undeveloped character of the interior, where watercourses dictate the natural boundaries and topography of the Yukon-Koyukuk region.
