Millican Mountains and the surrounding drainage basins of Coke County define this landscape of high points and deep draws. The terrain is marked by prominent elevations such as Lone Mtn, Wildcat Mtn, and Little Round Mtn, which overlook a network of seasonal watercourses. To the northeast, the presence of Lake E V Spence (also labeled as the E V Spence Reservoir) indicates the management of the Colorado River watershed, with Antelope Cr and Wildcat Cr feeding into this major water body. Deep incisions in the landscape are identified as Lock Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, and Sterman Canyon. The network of local roads, including Mountain Rd and Paint Creek Rd, traces the contours between these peaks and the various stock tanks, such as Oscar Tank, that support ranching in this arid region.
