The Lewis and Clark Trail cuts across the northern expanse of this 1968 survey, tracing a path through the high plains of Glacier County. The landscape is defined by the complex water management systems of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, centered on the Main Two Medicine Canal and the Two Medicine River. These waterways supported the sprawling agricultural terraces of Seville Flat and Hagan Flat, where the irrigation network transformed the arid terrain.
