Olympic Hot Springs and the surrounding wilderness of the Bailey Range define this mid-century look at the heart of Olympic National Park. The landscape is dominated by the massive glaciated massif of Mount Olympus, where the Blue Glacier, White Glacier, and Humes Glacier feed the headwaters of the Hoh River and Queets River. Along the Elwha River, traces of human presence appear at Humes Ranch and Michaels Ranch, situated near the waters of Lake Mills.
