New Hradec anchors the northeastern corner of this western North Dakota landscape, situated just across the county line in Dunn County. This 2014 survey documents the expansive high plains of Stark County, where the terrain is punctuated by the prominent Dutch Henry Butte. The map illustrates a rural network of gravel roads and section lines, including 29th St SW and 118th Ave SW, which serve the agricultural land between the drainage systems of the Green River, Duck Cr, and North Cr. At the southern edge of the quadrangle, the historic path of Highway 10 runs parallel to the modern interstate corridor, marking the long-established transportation route through this portion of the Missouri Plateau.
