Nunemaker Hill rises as a prominent landmark in this section of Teton County, where the high plains are deeply etched by a series of drainage coulees. The landscape is defined by the erosion patterns of Wolf Coulee, Nunemaker Coulee, and Hay Coulee, which channel runoff toward the north and east. To the south, the terrain ascends toward Eagle Point, overlooking the broader basin.
