1970 Map of Oologah

USGS Topo · Published 1980

About this map

The town of Oologah serves as the focal point of this Rogers County landscape, situated where the Missouri Pacific railroad tracks bisect the prairies west of the Verdigris River. This survey captures the region following the major hydrological shift brought by the completion of the Oologah Dam. The resulting Oologah Lake dominates the eastern half of the map, submerged valleys and creating a new shoreline near Edgewater Acres and the Will Rogers State Park.
