Pricedale and the surrounding woodlands of southern Mississippi are defined by a dense network of watercourses and family-named landmarks. The landscape is carved by the Bogue Chitto and its many tributaries, including Topisaw Cr and the Dog River. This area, straddling the boundaries of Pike, Lincoln, and Walthall counties, remains largely rural, characterized by scattered homesteads and numerous small family burial grounds.
