San German serves as the historic and educational hub of this mid-century survey, prominently featuring the Universidad Interamericana and its surrounding urban core divided into Pueblo Central, Pueblo Occidental, and Pueblo Oriental. To the south, the agricultural Valle de Lajas dominates the landscape, defined by irrigation canals and the sprawling Laguna Cartagena. This fertile plain is dotted with numerous haciendas, including Hacienda Luisa and Hacienda Resolución, alongside the industrial presence of Central Eureka in the northwest.
