1952 Map of Scipio North

USGS Topo · Published 1968

About this map

Scipio sits at the southern edge of this central Utah landscape, situated where the valley floor meets the rising peaks of the Fishlake National Forest. The geography is defined by the sharp contrast between the high summits of Wild Horse Peak and Fool Peak to the west and the riparian corridor of the Sevier River to the east. The river’s flow is captured by the Yuba Dam, forming the northern reaches of the Sevier Bridge Reservoir.
