Chugach National Forest encompasses the entirety of this coastal Alaskan landscape, where the tides of the Pacific Ocean meet a labyrinth of steep glacial inlets. The terrain is defined by the deep waters of Kings Bay and the twin reaches of West Finger Inlet and East Finger Inlet. These protected maritime features, along with Shady Cove and Greystone Bay, represent the primary points of access for this roadless wilderness.
