Iredell serves as the primary hub in this portion of Central Texas, situated near the confluence where Duffau Cr meets the North Bosque River. The landscape is defined by the winding course of the river and its many tributaries, including Honey Creek, Bailey Br, and Fall Cr. The rugged topographic relief of the region is punctuated by Spring Creek Gap in the southeast, a natural passage that has long influenced local transit patterns.
