The Naselle River winds through the forested highlands of the Willapa Hills region at the border of Pacific and Wahkiakum counties. This terrain is characterized by a network of drainage basins, with Alder Cr, Brock Cr, and Cedar Cr feeding into the main river channel. Elevation peaks are clearly marked by Deep River Hill and Valley Big Hill, providing a topographic framework for the numerous logging roads and service lines that crisscross the area, such as G-Line and F-Line.
