Timothy Lake and the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail dominate the southern and eastern landscape of this high-elevation area in the Mt Hood National Forest. Revised by the USDA Forest Service in the late 1990s, the map illustrates a complex network of forest management and recreation. The Salmon River winds through the northern sections, passing through the protected Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness.
