Horse Point and the high elevations of Winter Ridge define this high-plateau landscape in southern Uintah County. The topography is characterized by a complex network of drainage systems, including Willow Creek and a series of deep cuts such as Ute Canyon, Big Canyon, and Main Canyon. These deep corridors reveal the persistent erosional forces at work on the Utah landscape, where Lower Bottom Canyon and Upper Bottom Canyon converge near the central heights.
